Terms of service

PaidDebit is beta software. These terms say what it does, what it does not do, and what you agree to when you use it.

1. What PaidDebit is

PaidDebit lets a creator who receives fees through Paid direct those payouts to a Solana wallet, converts incoming SOL to USDC, and connects that balance to a virtual card.

PaidDebit is not a bank, a money transmitter, an exchange or a card issuer. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Paid, pump.fun, X, Privy, Jupiter or Stripe.

2. Beta status and the card

During the beta the virtual card runs in a card-issuing sandbox. It cannot be used at merchants and card purchases are simulated. Wallet deposits, swaps and settlement transfers happen on Solana mainnet and involve real assets.

When a live card program is available it will be provided by a licensed issuer and its cardholder terms will apply in addition to these terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement, and you may only use PaidDebit where doing so is lawful. Access during the beta is by invitation.

4. Your wallet and the permission you grant

Your wallet is created and secured by Privy and belongs to you. PaidDebit never holds your private keys.

To convert SOL and to settle card purchases you grant PaidDebit a single permission on that wallet. It is used only to swap incoming SOL to USDC and to move USDC out when your card is charged. You can revoke it at any time in Setup; doing so stops conversions and freezes the card.

5. Fees, refunds and disputes

PaidDebit charges no fees during the beta. Solana network fees and the swap spread are charged by the network and the swap venue, not by PaidDebit, and are not refundable.

Because PaidDebit sells nothing and charges nothing, there is no purchase from PaidDebit to refund. If a simulated card purchase is reversed or refunded, the settled USDC is returned to your wallet. When a live card program exists, disputes with merchants will follow the card network's rules through the issuer.

6. Risks

Digital assets are volatile and transactions on a public blockchain are irreversible. PaidDebit depends on third parties — Paid, Solana, Privy, Jupiter and the card issuer — and any of them can fail, change or stop. Payouts from Paid are at Paid's discretion. Beta software can contain bugs. Only use amounts you can afford to lose.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use PaidDebit for anything unlawful, to evade sanctions, to launder funds, or to interfere with the service or other users. Access may be suspended where that is suspected.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability

PaidDebit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, PaidDebit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by third-party services, network conditions, or market movements.

9. Changes

These terms may change as the product moves out of beta. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use PaidDebit after a change means you accept it.
